The VII National scientific conference “Libraries – reading - communications” was organized by Veliko Tarnovo University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” – department “Library sciences and mass communications” and “Petko R. Slaveykov” regional library on 21 and 22 October 2008 in Veliko Tarnovo.

         Scientific workers and lecturers from Veliko Tarnovo University , Plovdiv University , New Bulgarian University , Sofia University , State University of Library Sciences and Information Technologies and also library specialists took part in the conference with their lectures.

         Rositsa Petrova – directress of “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional library – Sliven was invited to read her lecture on the session on theme: “Libraries in aid of education /or how and why we read together /: the experience of “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional library of work with children”.

         At the beginning of next year the reports will be published in a medley.
