Mrs. Rositza Petrova, the director of “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library,
 visited the town of Pech

Mrs. Rositza Petrova, the director of “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library, visited the town of Pech and Baranya region in Hungary in October /16-19th/ 2005. She took part in the celebrations as her visit was on occasion of 25-year jubilee of “Dr. Zoltan Warkoni” Regional Library of Pech, which with the Sliven library had entered into an agreement for collaboration since 2001.

Mrs. Rositsa Petrova presented the activity of “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library –Sliven on the conference, organized during the celebrations and recently launched “LITTLE” international project in which the Sliven library is the only partner from Bulgaria. The town library of Pech is invited to take part in this project as an associated partner.

Mrs. Rositsa Petrova also visited the university library in the town in which is located “Klimo” collection – an unique collection of books in Latin, Greek, German and Hungarian from the period of XV – XIX century. She visited the Art museum, the Basilica of Pech, the Reformatory church, the Museum of vine in Vilani and other places of interest.

Mrs. Rositsa Petrova together with representatives of Bulgarian self-government in Pech visited Bulgarian war cemetery in Harkan where more than 1000 Bulgarian soldiers, who died in the war in 1945, were buried (most of them were from Sliven and Yambol regions). They also visited the monument near to Drawasobolch village.
