Officially was opened a computer room equipped by project "Global Libraries – Bulgaria” – first stage in the target libraries of Tvarditsa, Sliven region

On 22 December, on Christmas Eve, were officially opened computer halls in the libraries at the community centres “Razvitie” in the town of Tvarditsa, “Prosveta”-in Sborishte village and “Prosveta” in the town of Shivachevo. The organized celebrations in all three community centers were included in the holiday Christmas program of the municipality and were visited by many citizens.
     Computer room in the library at the community centre “Razvitie” in the town of Tvarditsa, Kozarevo quarter, was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Tvarditsa Lyubomir Leonov and the regional project coordinator of the Global Libraries-Bulgaria for Sliven region Rosica Petrova-Vasileva. I Rosica Petrova-Vasileva welcomed the members of the community center, representatives of municipal administration, students and citizens. In her speech she highlighted the benefits to the local community by the inclusion of the library the community centre “Razvitie” and wished the project through new services that will offer the library to become a center of attraction for all citizens. The secretary of the library Daniela Stancheva made a presentation devoted to the history and present library and the main activities and achievements of the library in the field of library and information services to consumers.
 

   At 13.00h. the regional project coordinator of the Global Libraries-Bulgaria for Sliven region Rosica Petrova-Vasileva and the Mayor of Sborishte village Zlati Radnev officially opened the computer room in the library of “Prosveta” community centre - Sborishte village through a traditional cutting of the tricolor ribbon. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva and Nadezhda Todorova-a chief specialist in the Directorate for Education, Culture in Tvarditsa welcomed  the library members and guests of the event. The celebration continued with a music program of students from the elementary school. Before the end of the celebration in front of computers in the hall stood the most eager visitors - teacher of English Basima Azad - a volunteer from the Peace Corps with her students.
 

     In true celebration for the city became officially inaugurated the computer room of “Prosveta” community centre in the town of Shivachevo. It was attended by the Mayor of the town of Shivachevo Dinko Dinev, the regional project coordinator of the Global Libraries - Bulgaria for Sliven region Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, Nadejda Todorova-a chief specialist in the Directorate of Education, Culture in Tvarditsa, officials from the local government, members of the community center, many teachers, students and citizens. In the beginning was the traditional tricolor band cut from Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, Dinko Dinev and the head of the community centre Svetla Boeva. Then a speech to the attendees read Rosica Petrova-Vasileva. In it she thanked for the assistance of local government to fulfill the conditions for inclusion of the library  in the project and stressed the benefits for  the city's population from participating in it. By an interesting presentation was presented the history and present of “Prosveta” community centre, the most important projects implemented in recent years and the main activities of the library. Surprise to everyone was the specially prepared by students of vocational high school cake with the logo of the project, which was gifted to employees of the library.
