On  December 21 in the libraries of Nova Zagora Municipality, Sliven District, officially were opened computer rooms equipped by the project "Global Libraries Bulgaria – First stage


     On December 21, were officially opened computer rooms in the libraries of community centres  “Dinyo P. Sivkov” - Nova Zagora, “Desko Krastev” – Asenovets village and “Petko Enev"-Banya village.

At the official opening ceremony of the hall at the library at community centre “Dinyo P. Sivkov” - Nova Zagora, attended by the Mayor of Nova Zagora Nikolay Grozev, the Vice Mayor Danka Chilikova, the secretary of the municipality Kosta Kostadinov, the regional project coordinator of the Global Libraries -Bulgaria in Sliven District Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, officials from the municipal administration, members of the library, many students and citizens. The event began at 11.00 am by a speech of Georgi Nikolov - Chairman of the library. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva welcomed the participants and the staff of the library. She wished the library to multiply its users and to become an integral part of local community life. After the speeches traditionally have been cut also the tricolor band by the regional project coordinator for the Sliven region Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, the mayor of Nova Zagora Nikolay Grozev and the chairman of the community centre Georgi Nikolov. To the guests was showed a presentation dedicated to the main activities in the library and the new services which will be provided through the participation in Project Global Libraries - Bulgaria.

   

     At 1.00 pm officially was opened the computer room in the community centre “Desko Krastev” – Asenovets village. The celebration began with the performances by amateur dancers from the community center. Traditional Thracian dance with bread and wine known for success and prosperity was performed. About the benefits from the participation of the community centre’s library in Project “Global Libraries-Bulgaria” for the local community spoke the regional project coordinator for the Sliven region Rosica Petrova-Vasileva. Veska Valcheva – a Head of Culture, media policy and religion in the municipality of Nova Zagora welcomed the members of the library and the guests. After the speeches Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, Veska Valcheva and the chairman of the library Hristo Kostadinov officially opened the computer room and the mayor of the village - Krusty Stoychev poure water for the success of the project.

 

   

     In the early afternoon was officially opened the computer room at the community centre “Petko Enev” in Banya village. The celebration began with performances by the singing group at the library and students from local schools. The Regional Project Coordinator of the Global Libraries Bulgaria "Rosica Petrova-Vasileva and Veska Valcheva – a Head of Culture, media policy and religion in the municipality of Nova Zagora greeted the assembled guests and library members. Then they cut the ribbon and officially opened the computer room.
