CHRISTMAS IN “SAVA DOBROPLODNI” REGIONAL LIBRARY

 

         In the days before a big holiday liveliness always prevails. Before Christmas it was most strongly among children. Believe or not believe in Santa Claus, they wait for him, because his appearance is associated with long-awaited gifts and surprises. On his way from the far side of Lapland, this year the good old man stopped also in “Sava Dobroplodni” regional library to meet its young readers. And as the deers that drew his sleigh are incredibly fast, he allowed himself to stay in the children's department for five days - from 14th to 18th of December.

More than 450 children from different schools in Sliven met Santa Claus during his stay in the library. In his meetings with them he told them about the Christmas mysteries, met them with "The World at Christmas day", they revealed the secrets of "The Night Before Christmas”.

For all the children who visited the library there was prepared a jolly quiz, puppet theater, presents and many other surprises.

“Sava Dobroplodni” regional library also had a Christmas gift for its young readers: any kid that took part in the Christmas celebrations got a reader’s card for the next calendar year with a 50% discount and many promotional materials.

Santa's stay in Sliven temple of spirituality and knowledge finished on 18th of December in 3. 00 pm with a happy holiday. Around the decorated Christmas tree provided by the administration of Sliven’s Forestry Sliven children from different schools sang, danced and had fun. Finally they all together sent Santa on his long way.
