Sava Dobroplodni Regional Library - Sliven In Help of Graduates

 A meeting of more than 30 graduates from “Marie Curie” High School of Electrical engineering with representatives of the management board of the faculty of engineering and teaching in Sliven - branch of Sofia Technical University was held  in  the new training center of Sava Dobroplodni Regional Library on 10.01.2011.  It  launched a series of informational meetings with graduate students from secondary schools in Sliven. At the beginning to the young people was made a presentation of the information services in the library and about the large range of materials, books and other library materials needed by students to get ready for matriculation and for prospective student exams.

After the presentation Professor Koycho Atanasov – a vice-dean of the faculty of engineering and teaching in Sliven - branch of Sofia Technical University, presented the subjects studied in the faculty, the advantages of learning them and the opportunities for professional development after a successful graduation. He told the audience also how to apply, the dates for preliminary examinations and submission of documents.

Through this new initiative of Sava Dobroplodni Regional Library, implemented in partnership with the Engineering-Pedagogical Faculty of Sofia Technical University, both institutions aim to help young people from Sliven region in their professional orientation and their future career.
