ANNOUNCE:

A NATIONAL LITERARY COMPETITION AND A COMPETITION FOR BEST DRAWINGS ON TOPIC:

"My Library"

          Children and teenagers 7-16 years of age may take part in these competitions-they are separated in three groups: 7-19 years old, 10-13 years old and 14-16 years old. Each participant is allowed to present not more than 2 literature works/ an essay, a story, a fairy tale or a poem/ or 2 drawings-35x50 cm /aquarelle, crayon, oil, graphics/, especially created for the competition.

Dear participants, the 50 anniversary of the greatest treasure house of knowledge in our region – “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library forth comes. It is nowadays a space for free dialogues, for meetings with the interesting book and its authors – writers, publishers, illustrators. It is the dream about the Babylon library and the reality of virtual forms, a part of the informative society without borders. It is your library. The competition gives you a chance to paint or share your thoughts and feelings, which excite you when you enter the library, by various vehicles.

            A competent jury will select the winners. There will be many awards for the winners and also free yearly subscriptions to the library. The paintings will be exposed in an exhibition. Best works-winners will be published in a medley.
