SAVA DOBROPLODNI REGIONAL LIBRARY RECEIVED A VALUABLE BOOK DONATION ON THE EVE OF THE HOLIDAY OF SLIVEN-ST. DIMITAR’S DAY

On the eve of Dimitrovden Sava Dobroplodni Regional Library - Sliven, received several book donations.

Asparuh Panov - a participant in the political life of the country in the last thirty years donated to the library his books: "Between the emotions and the realities of the transition. The Development of Political Culture in Bulgaria after 1989 "; "For politics with bias. What we did and where we failed "; UDF and NMSS.The Heroes and Victims of the Transition" and "The Different Prime Minister.Talks with Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha".
         The famous politician Georgi Yordanov from the recent past, whose labor and political career began in Sliven, to which he always returns with nostalgia and love donated during his visit to Sliven, his books "Hidden Moments.Vol.1-2" and the second supplementary edition of "Life clearly visible".

Particularly valuable is the jubilee collection donated by the high school administration, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the "Dobri Chintulov" since its founding, which reflects not only the history of the most important educational center of our city, but also reminds the generations of the names of many citizen of Sliven who made their first steps towards their professional future successes in it.

The study of architect Georgi Kozarov "The Economics of the Bulgarian Revival" (containing the works of the author about Nikola Fichev, Dobri Zhelyazkov – the Factory man and Hadji Slavcho Paskalev / and the book by Ivan Yotov "Architect Georgi Kozarov - the man, the tourist, the artist" donated to the library by Georgi Stoyanov - grandson of the famous Sliven citizen.

         Donated books contained autographs, which make them even more valuable not only for us but also for the future generations of Sliven.
