Christmas at "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library Christmas - the most awaited and loved by children holiday around the world. Christmas - the time of good wishes and toys, the merry peal of bells on Christmas and companies and survakari blessings of tremulous expectations and happy occurrence. Christmas - the time of gifts and the generous Santa Claus. This Christmas spirit, the quiet joy of Christmas recreated for the children of Sliven the librarians from “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library organized from 20 to 22 December traditional holidays "Christmas in the library”. At different times of the day pupils from "Vasil Levski" elementary school, IInd elementary school "Hristo Botev", Vth secondary school “Peyo Yavorov”, kindergarten "Mac" celebrated Christmas with their favorite characters from fairy tales. With fun quizzes they learned about how people around the world celebrate the birth of the Son of God and met with a dear guest – the good white-bearded old man from Lapland, carrying a shoulder bag full of Christmas surprises. On December 20, at 10. 00 am, was opened the exhibition of the competition "My Christmas card”. In the competition took part 286 participants from different schools in Sliven / IInd primary school "Hristo Botev", IIIrd primary school "Dr. Ivan Seliminski", "Vasil Levski" elementary school, IVth secondary school "Dimitar Petrov", Vth primary school “Peyo Yavorov", VIth primary school "Bratya Miladinovi", Xth secondary school “Yordan Yovkov", XII primary school “Elisaveta Bagryana", centre for social care "Hristo Botev" - Dragodanovo village, Resource Center for Children with Disabilities- Sliven /and the school “Young Virtuosos", School of Fine Art at the United children’s centre-Sliven and circles "Phytodesign", "Zoosvyat" and " n the world of computers" at United children’s centre -Sliven. Awards were handed out to winners in two categories: for the most beautiful card and for the most original Christmas wish. The results from the charity campaign "Gift a book, find a friend" were reported. The campaign will continue in 2011. |
