The directress of the regional library in Sliven Rosica Petrova received an international award

On May 10, 2012, during the final concert performance of the XIV National Children's Book Festival, Sliven, the directress of "Sava Dobroplodni" regional library - Rosica Petrova - Vasileva received a high honor – the award "The Little Prince" of the Association of Friends of the book "The Little Prince"/Bosnia and Herzegovina/. The prize is awarded by an international jury and awarded during the festival "Vezaniy most" - Tuzla in two categories: the best children's book from the region /Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro/ and outstanding contribution to development of children's literature and intercultural cooperation on the Balkans. The prize in the second category is given to prominent politicians, public figures and artists from different countries since 2006. The award, a bronze sculpture of The Little Prince with a diploma, was handed in by Šimo Ešić – a famous Bosnian poet and translator, director of the largest children's publishing houese in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Bosnian language" and the international festival "Vezaniy most" - Tuzla .
