“Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library will take place in the program dedicated to the Day of Sliven – Dimitrovden with three events.

„Sava Dobroplodni”Regional Library will involve in the feast program of the town of Sliven, dedicated to the Day of our town – Dimitrovden with three original activities.

The poetess Ivanka Mogilska and the poet Stefan Ivanov will participate in the first literature duel out of the capital. The original form of “trubadurski duel” will be a fact for the first time in the town of Sliven on the 10^th of October, 2006 /on Tuesday/ at 17.00 p. m. in the camera hall of “Stefan Kirov” Dramatic theatre. The Plovdiv youth “Takov bend” will contribute to the good mood of the spectators in the hall. Petar Chukov – a poet, a fiction-writer and a musician will be the leader of “the duel”.       

On the 11^th of October /Wednesday/, will be present the novel “Mutra”of Konstantin Katsarov – a frontman of a “Renegat” group, again in the hall of Dramatic theatre. The spectators will may hear and an audio variant of the widely discussed book.

“Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library will be the host of the presentation of the newest poetical book of our fellow-townswoman Sijka Arnaudova.

The first performance of the “Revelation” book of poetry will be held on the 13th of October /on Friday/ at 17.00 p. m. in the library building. The manifestation is in the frames of the initiative “A White night”, which will carry out for the second year in Sliven in occasion of Dimitrovden.

By these activities, varied by forms and content and orientated to different audiences, the library aims at satisfy the searches of  more widely part of admirers of written speech and to provoke by original way an interest to the creative work of the contemporary authors.
