More than 2500 new books come into the funds of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library - Sliven on project "Bulgarian Libraries as Modern Centres of Reading and Information"

By the end of December 2012 the funds of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library - Sliven will have more than 2500 new books received on project "Bulgarian Libraries as Modern Centres of Reading and Information". The project is financed by the Bulgarian government and directly aimed at supplying funds Bulgarian libraries with books and other information materials. The project of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library is worth 15 000 leva /the maximum value set for this year's funding / allocated in two tranches. The books that the library has ordered by the project come from more than 70 publishers and in the spheres of philosophy, psychology, religion, sociology, political science, law, education, economics, engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, medicine, computer science, accounting, art , architecture, linguistics, literature, geography, history and etc., fiction for children and adults, as well as valuable reference books. More than 250 dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, and fiction in English, German, French, Spanish and Russian languages supporting language learning would be bought too. Over 1000 volumes of books will be donated by the publishers involved in the project of the library. The project will end in December as the supply of the books by the publishing houses started and some of the newly supplied editions are now available to readers. Employees of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library work at high speed to process all the books in a short time and to meet successfully the diverse needs of information of library’s patrons.
