Computer labs equipped by the project "Global Libraries-Bulgaria" were opened officially in three more libraries in Nova Zagora Municipality, Sliven District Three more libraries in Nova Zagora municipality were included in the project "Global Libraries - Bulgaria" - II stage and were equipped with computers and peripheral equipment. On the 30th of May was officially opened a computer lab in the library at the community centre in the village of Sabrano and on 6nd of June 2011 were opened the computer labs in the libraries at the community centre of the village of Elenovo and the village of Lyubenova mahala. The celebration of the opening of the computer lab in the community centre in the village of Sabrano was attended by the vice-mayor of the municipality of Nova Zagora – Mrs. Galya Zaharieva and Mrs. Veska Valcheva – a head of “Culture, media policy and religion” department in the municipality of Nova Zagora, the Regional Project Coordinator of “Global Libraries-Bulgaria” for Sliven region Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, the Mayor of the village of Sabrano - Mr. Demirev, members of the community center, many children and citizens. The celebration began with performances by children from the kindergarten in the village and the vocal group of the primary school in the village of Stoil voyvoda. Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva spoke in front of the audience about the benefits from the participation of the library in the Project “Global Libraries-Bulgaria" for the local community. Then traditionally was cut and tricolor band by the Deputy Mayor of Nova Zagora – Ms. Galya Zechariah and Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, the mayor of the village - Mr. Demirev poured some water from a copper utensil for the success of the project. The computer lab in the library at the community centre in the village of Elenovo was officially opened on the 8th of June in 10.30 a.m. The ceremony was attended by the vice-mayor of the municipality of Nova Zagora – Ms. Galya Zaharieva and Ms. Veska Valcheva – a head of “Culture, media policy and religion” department in the municipality of Nova Zagora, the Regional Project Coordinator of the “Global Libraries-Bulgaria” for Sliven region Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, The mayor of the village of Donyo Dimitrovo, members of the community center, amateurs, many students and citizens. The celebration began with performances by children from the kindergarten in the village and amateurs from the community center. Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva welcomed the participants. She wished the librarians to multiply the users of the library and made the library an integral part of local community’s life. The band was cut by Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva and the vice-mayor of the municipality of Nova Zagora – Ms. Galya Zechariah. By ancient Bulgarian tradition the guests and the first visitors of the computer lab were greeted with bread and salt. At 12.00., the same day, was officially opened also the computer lab in the community centre’s library of the village of Lyubenova mahala. The ceremony was attended by the vice-mayor of the municipality of Nova Zagora – Ms. Galya Zaharieva, ; Ms. Veska Valcheva – a head of “Culture, media policy and religion” department in the municipality of Nova Zagora, the Regional Project Coordinator of the “Global Libraries-Bulgaria” for Sliven region Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva, the mayor of the village, Mr. Ivan Ivanov, members of the community center, amateurs, many students and citizens. The celebration began with performances by children from the kindergarten and the primary school students. Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva spoke in front of the audience about the project "Global Libraries-Bulgaria” and the benefits of participation of the library in it for the local community. A welcoming speech to the members of the library and the guests read also the chairman of the community center Ms. Slava Ivanova. After the welcoming Mrs. Rosica Petrova-Vasileva and Ms. Galya Zaharieva – a vice-mayor cut the ribbon and officially opened the computer lab and the mayor of the village – Mr. Ivan Ivanov poured water from a copper utensil for the success of the project |
