With a fabulous Latin fiesta ended the summer workshop in Sava Dobroplodni regional library on 30th of July. For one month, children aged 6 to 11 years attended the organized activities, drew, modeled, made applications and learned many new things about planets, space, flora and fauna, fashion, music, jobs, experienced adventures as a mysterious Indians, pirates , musketeers, got to know historical symbols of Sliven. In practical activities children made pencils' cases, frames for pictures, book-separators, masks, paintings, drawings, cards, origami, applications, figures from plasticine etc. which were exposed in a special exhibition. For one month children prepared also a theatrical performance "A magic fairy-talewithout end" based on the tales of Vesela Flamburari, which was presented on the last day of the workshop. It was attended by all children. Small actors performed their favorite characters, sang, danced, recited and had fun. At the end of the festive fiesta every child received a diploma, interesting books and gifts from the management of the library. Summer workshop - 2010 - ended. Remained the satisfaction that active work to create interest in books and reading through non-traditional forms and methods in children, the various initiatives in the library made it a desirable place for peaceful and meaningful spending of leisure time for more children of our city.
