A Holiday of Letters was held in “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library

First-grade pupils from VII elementary school “Panayot Hitov” – Sliven, carried out the traditional for the first grade “A Holiday of Letters”. “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library hosted the event.

The guests were met in Reading-room № 2 of the library, which was decorated as a little puppet theatre especially for the event. Characters from favourite children’s tales entertained the children. The holiday started with Tom Thumb, the Blackbird, the wheat small flat loaf and the gold fish.

Little pupils presented to their parents what they have learned in the first grade; they sang and recited in great mood.

As it is proper for a holiday, all the first-grade pupils received presents– books and readers’ cards for the Children’s department of the regional library.
