MORE THAN 900 CHILDREN ATTENDED THE EVENTS OF THE PROGRAM "IN THE WORLD OFFAIRY TALES" OF "SAVA DOBROPLODNI" REGIONAL LIBRARY - SLIVEN
Days of Tales of the Program "In the Magic World of Fairy Tales" took place at Sava Dobroplodni Regional Library - Sliven from March 11th to April 2nd, 2018, for the nineteenth consecutive year,.
Traditionally
this year, the library has opened a fairytale theater, which offered pupils
from the first to fourth grade from various schools in Sliven unforgettable
adventures with the characters of favorite children's books. This year the
children met the characters from the tales of the world-famous French
narrator Charles Perrault. They sincerely enjoyed the adventures of the Cat
in the boots and helped to accomplish his intriguing plan, shared Snow
White’s story and help the prince save her, manage to outwit the bad wolf
who stalks in forest the Little Red Hood and helped just punishing him.
After the show, children attended the Children's Department of the Library,
attracted by from the shelves with colorful children's books.

Primary School, II Primary School "Hristo Botev", III Primary School "Dr.
Ivan Seliminski", IV Primary school "D. Petrov ", V Secondary School "P. K.
Yavorov", VII Primary School "Panayot Hitov", VIII Primary
school "Yuri Gagarin", XI Secondary School "K. Konstantinov" and XII Primary
School "Elisaveta Bagryana". For more than 300 of them, this was a first
visit to the library. Longing for new adventures in the fairy-tale world,
they received their first reader’s card and are already registered readers
of the Children's Department of the library.
In
the framework of the program "In the magic world of fairy tales" in Sava
Dobroplodni Regional Library, there were also celebrations "I am already
literate" held with first-graders from II Primary School "Hristo Botev",
Vasil Levski Primary School, XII Primary School "Elisaveta Bagryana" and IV
Primary School "D.Petrov". The tradition of holding of the most important
celebration for the first-graders in the library, gathered children and
parents and united them around the idea that the love for good books is
being built from a very early age, that love for reading is the foundation
of success for their whole life.
The organizers of Sava Dobroplodni Regional library these performances are satisfied by their work with children and the challenge to attract more and more children in a new journey into the kingdom of books.
