The last published book of Sliven writer Georgi Parushev was presented on the Friday literary readings in June in “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional library

 

The book “Porters of illusions” of Georgi Parushev, who was born in Sliven, was presented on 29 June 2007 by the poetess Petya Alexandrova on the Friday literary readings in June in “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Llibrary. After two books of poetry (“Song will come ” and “A Madhouse for gypsies ”), translated into Russian, English, French and Romany, “ Porters of illusions” is the third book in a row of Georgi Parushev, which presents his “proof talent for writing”, as Yordan Radichkov himself wrote about him.

Georgi Parushev is a winner of national awards for poetry, compiler of the first in Bulgaria “Anthology of Romany poetry”, an author and a screen script- writer of broadcasting on Bulgarian National Television. Editor-in-chief of the Romany magazine “Gitana”, his documentary-publicistic book “A Call Soul” is in print.

The book “Porters of illusions” was published by the means of a competition of the National book centre.

The presentation of that book was the last event of the initiative of “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library Friday literary readings. Friday literary readings will start again in September 2007.
