REGIONAL TRAINING SEMINAR ON TOPIC: "LIBRARY DOCUMENTATION. LIBRARY STATISTICS. REGISTER OF PUBLIC LIBRARIES" WAS HELD ON 26^th OF MAY 2017

The seminar “Library Documentation. Library Statistics. Register of Public Libraries" was organized by “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library as a result of the implementation of its responsibilities related to the coordination of the activity of the librarians in the region and the assistance of the Ministry of Culture in the implementation of the state policy in the field of library and information services, and was funded by the Ministry of Culture. Over 65 librarians from the libraries at the community centers from Sliven region participated in the workshop.

The seminar was opened with a presentation on topic: "State of Library Documentation in the Public Libraries of the Sliven Region", prepared on the basis of complex research work by experts from the Regional Library of libraries at the community centers in the region.

Presentations were also presented: "Library Book-stock Movement Book. Inventory book – rules for keeping and documenting"/lecturer: Stefka Georgieva/, "Library Register - rules of conduct"/lecturer: Mariana Ivanova/, "Library Statistics"/ lecturer: Galya Georgieva/,"Register of public libraries. Initial registration and annual update"/lecturer: Rositsa Ivanova/.

A practical exercise was carried out at the end of the seminar.
