More than
150 students took part
in the Days of Francophonie in Sliven
organized by
"Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library
It
has become a tradition on the eve of March 20 -The
International Day of Francophonie, various events dedicated to French
language and culture to be organized
in "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library
- Sliven.
This way our city is included in
the celebrations,
which unite more than 870 million francophones worldwide.
This year, employees of
Foreign language center of the
library presented to French language
studying students of
High school for foreign languages
"Zaharii
Stoyanov" a n
interesting program including: a presentation
entitled
"Albert Camus - creator of the existential novel" - presenting interesting
moments of
the life and work of the famous French writer and existentialist novel
characteristics; movies about
Versailles
in French - representing
Versailles castle, gardens and parks, the gallery of mirrors,
mansion of Marie Antoinette and a documentary
movie about the Louvre -
dedicated to the history of the Louvre and
the exhibits
in the most
famous French museum.
Presentations
and film
screenings were organized
from 17 to 21 March 2014
on a
preliminary schedule and were attended by
more than 150 students.
The program included
also collective
visits to the Foreign
language center where the students
got acquainted with the works of
contemporary French authors and new materials to support French language
studying too. |
