Rewarding the awards to the participants in the annual competition for best Christmas Cards and wishes "Christmas magic" of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library

Mr. Kolyo Milev, Mayor of the Municipality of Sliven, awarded the participants in the competition "Christmas Magic" - for the best Christmas card and the most original Christmas wish on a special celebration in the decorated lobby of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library - Sliven on December 21, 2012..

         The competition was attended by more than 565 children aged 5 to 14 years from all Sliven schools, and schools in the region. The most active were the students from "Vasil Levski" Elementary school, II "Hristo Botev" Primary school, V "Peyo Kracholov Yavorov" Secondary school, XII school "E. Bagryana ", III "Dr. Ivan Seliminski" Primary school, IV "Dimitar Petrov" Primary school, IX school "St. St.Cyril and Methodius" Primary school, XI "Konstantin Konstantinov" Secondary school, "Dobri P. Chintulov" High school of Matematics, "D.Damyanov" High school of humanitarian sciences, etc. With great desire and diligence were painted the Christmas cards of the small artists from "Bozhur" kindergarten, "Zornitsa" kindergarten, "Detski Ray" Kindergarten, "Temenuga" kindergarten, "Papazyan" kindergarten, "Mak" Kindergarten and "Elitsa" kindergarten. Special craftsmanship showed the children from the classes at the United Children's Complex - Sliven – from the art workshop led by Snezhina Velikova, the art school "Phytodesign" led by Zhivka Georgieva, and the school of arts "Young Virtuosos" led by Elena Terzieva. Very beautiful Christmas cards with warm wishes were sent by the children from the Children’s center in Kotel, community centre "Prosveta" in Sborishte village, the art club at "Dobri Chintulov-1941" community centre - Sliven etc. Selecting best cards and Christmas wishes was a very difficult task for the jury not only because of the large number of cards, but because all participants had invested a lot of talent and imagination to recreate their Christmas dreams and wishes. Therefore, the rewards were more than initially intended.
