SEPTEMBER 20th - OPEN DOORS DAY IN "SAVA DOBROPLODNI" REGIONAL LIBRARY - SLIVEN

Traditionally at the beginning of each school year "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library organizes Open Doors Day. Many of the initiatives included in the program that day were focused on students. In front of more than 450 students from "Zahari Stoyanov" foreign language high school, "Dobri Chintulov" High school of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, "Akad. Nedelcho Nedelchev" high school of tourism, Vth secondary school "P.K. Yavorov" and IInd "Hristo Botev" secondary school was presented newly supplied literature to support training in various disciplines. Visitors got acquainted with the opportunities to use various information resources, computer facilities and new services in the library. Interesting lectures, presentations, quizzes were presented to students. Prizes were provided for the most curious ones. In the Open Doors Day information services and daily cards were free, and annual cards / till the end of 2011 / had a price of 1 lev - for users aged under 14 years, and 2 levs - for users aged over 14 years. An exhibition of works by graduates of the National Art School "Dimitar Dobrovich" - Sliven in specialities "Textile Art", "Advertising Graphics" and "Painting" was opened in the Open Doors Day at the Regional Library. The exhibition is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the school and will be exhibited in the foyer of the main building of the library until the 30th of September.
