"Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library

With many smiles, cheerful mood and good wishes was accompanied the fabulous workshop for martenitsi, which opened today, 1st of March, in the Children's Department of "Sava Dobroplodni" regional library. The most skilful participants in it were the first graders from IInd primary school "Hristo Botev ". They have also brought in the library martenitsi made by them and put them on a specially prepared for the purpose tree. They listened with a great interest to legends about the holiday. They got acquainted with the folk traditions associated with the celebration of the 1st of March in different parts of the country. Pupils recited poems dedicated to Grandmother Marta and answered riddles. Librarians from the children’s department of "Sava Dobroplodni" regional library managed to make children’s visit an unforgettable experience.
