CELEBRATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY WAS HELD ON THE FIRST OF JUNE IN "SAVA DOBROPLODNI" REGIONAL LIBRARY
On the 1st of June, in 10. 00 a.m., for another year in a row, librarians from "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library organized for the children of Sliven children's celebration with lots of funny games, prizes and surprises. The courtyard of the library was narrow to get together all the children and their parents who came to enjoy the songs and dances of young talents of Sliven.
Ballet dancers of "Barbie" dance troupe from the Military Club – Sliven, led by Sylvia Terzieva, who performed the dance "Mood", "merry buffoons", "Dance of the Dolls", "Buratino", etc., entertained guests and participants in the holiday. The young singers Antonia Vateva, Denis Syrakov and Marieta Sirakova from the Club for young pop and rock artists "Rhythm" at the Children's Complex – Sliven, led by Elena Peeva, were also applauded for their performances.
Traditionally, the celebration was held under the slogan "Tell me your favorite poem". More than 50 children stood on the stage to recite poems or sing their favorite songs as the youngest participant was a 3 years old girl. Some of the kids stood in front of the microphone twice, so the organizers extended the duration of the celebration, to give chance to all participants to sing songs or perform poems.
The librarians of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional library gave children a joyful, cheerful, memorable holiday filled with lots of fun, smiles and of course a lot of gifts this year too. All children left out the party with balloons, flags, cards and badges with the desire to visit the library and the initiatives, organized by the Children's Department of the library again.
