Children's celebration of the International Children's Day was held on the 1st of June in "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library – Sliven
A celebration with lots of games, entertainment, prizes and surprises for the children of Sliven was organized on the occasion of the International Children's Day on the 1st of June, in 10. 00 a.m., in the yard of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library. The youngest singers from the Club for young pop and rock performers "Rhythm" sang their favourite songs. Dancers from "Barbie" ballet also took part in the celebration and their dances entertained the audience.
A kind of contest was organized for all children, in which each participant presented to the enthusiastic audience his favorite poem or song. Children aged 2 and 3 years also took part in it, following the example of the elder girls and boys.
For all children the organizers of the event had prepared gifts - interesting books, balloons, badges, flags. Some of the books were provided by the bookstore "Friends" / former bookstore "Penguins" /.
The celebration ended with dancing and sweets for all.
Once again, the library team gave the children of Sliven a cheerful, buoyant, unforgettable holiday with lots of fun, humor and smiles, and, of course, love for books and works of our most beloved children's authors.
