Summer workshops for children starts again in “Sava Dobroplodni” regional library

For the fourth time in a row this summer “ Sava Dobroplodni” regional library is hosting the Summer workshop. More than 40 children from 5 to 11 years old, divided into two age groups participate in the organized activities in the library. Thematic sessions vary from a are broad spectrum, but they are also match the age of the participants and their interests. Among children there are children with special needs, to which an individual attention is paid. Every weekday librarians will read to children their favorite books, children will participate in games and competitions in modeling, draw, will perform children's theater, will learn interesting facts about books, libraries, the wonders of the world, animals and plant life, pirates, Indians, seasons, fashion, Bulgarian traditions and customs and other interesting topics. In practical mixes children will learn to prepare molivnitsi, frames for photographs, figures from plasticine, attributes for wizards, origami and other interesting subjects, will draw, will take part in competitions to demonstrate their artistic talents. Especially exciting for children is to create their first readers diaries during the summer workshop activities.. Interest to the summer workshop is great. Unfortunately, the organizers can not register all the children, because there is no capacity in the library. This fact once again demonstrates the success of the initiative of the library, which is known not only by Sliven children but also from their friends from other cities and from abroad, who are guests in Sliven in the summer months. Summer activities will continue until the end of July and on the last day of July a Fairy Ball will be held traditionally. The summer workshop in “Sava Dobroplodni” regional library is a unique opportunity for children to spend a part of their holiday in a funny and meaningful way this year too.
