TOPIC: "GLOBAL EDUCATION FOR GLOBAL LIBRARIES" WAS HELI IN "SAVA DOBROPLODNI"

Twenty-five
librarians from target libraries from all over the country participated in
the training organized by the Global Libraries - Bulgaria Foundation on
topic: “Global Education for Global Libraries”, held in “Sava Dobroplodni”
Regional Library in Sliven from 18th to 20th
of May 2017.
The
training was held into three modules: the themes
"Sustainable Development Goals and the Place of Global Education" and
"Economic Empowerment" were presented in the first module. In the second
module, the subjects were: "Rights of Children", "
Gender
Equality", "Health Education and Healthy Lifestyle" and "Environment and
Climate Change". The third module was devoted to
planning activities to improve children's economic, health, environmental
and legal culture, and interactive methods of work with adolescents were
discussed.
