CHRISTMAS IN LIBRARY
On the eve of Christmas "Sava Dobroplodni" regional library - Sliven traditionally organizes a series of initiatives: A Competition for drawing the best Christmas card and most original Christmas wish "Christmas Magic", Literary Contest "Letter to Santa Claus", exhibitions, performances, fun meetings with Santa Claus.
Dear children, To join the contest for drawing the best Christmas Card "Christmas Magic", draw a beautiful Christmas card. Wrtite in it your original wish for the holiday and bring it in the Children's Department of "Sava Dobroplodni" regional library until December 10th, 2015. A special jury will select the best cards. The most original cards will be exposed at an exhibition in the foyer of the library on the eve of Christmas. There will be many prizes for the best cards, and for the most original Christmas wishes. Children aged 5 to 14 years may took part in the competition.
Dear friends, If you believe in the Christmas spirit and miracles, we invite you to take part in the literary contest "Letter to Santa Claus". Write a letter to the white-bearded old man, but do not ask him for a gift, because often the most expensive gifts have no shape and color, they are not shiny packages with ribbons. Write in your letters your wishes, dreams and aspirations for your innermost secrets ... and believe that the good old man will make them come true! Children and adolescents aged 7 to 19 years, divided into three age groups: 7-10 years, 11-14 years, 15-19 years may take part in the competition. Each participant may submit one work of fiction up to 2 pages. A professional jury will select the best works. There will be many prizes too. The jury will select works only typed on paper or sent via e-mail. Deadline for sending the letter is December 10th, 2015.
