Days of Francophonie
in „Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library - Sliven
It became a tradition in the eve of the 20th of March – The International Day of Francophonie, "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library to organize various events dedicated to French language. This way our city took part in the celebration of the feast that unites more than 870 million French speaking people all over the world.
This year the librarian from the Foreign Language Center of the Library presented to students who study French in Foreign Language High School "Zaharii Stoyanov" a presentation entitled: "French writers from different literary periods - Stendhal, Victor Hugo, Stéphane Mallarmé ".
The presentations were organized from 14 to 16th of March in hours chosen by students and their teachers.
The program also included collective visits in the foreign language center where to the students were presented works of contemporary French writers and new books and textbooks to support French language learning.
