LECTURES "LOVE CONQUERS FEAR" WERE READ
ON VALENTINE’S DAY IN "SAVA DOBROPLODNI"
REGIONAL LIBRARY - SLIVEN
Seven
lectures on topic "Love conquers fear" were read on a preliminary schedule,
by Assoc. Prof.
PhD Marian
Stoyadinov – a Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology at the
University of Veliko Tarnovo in "Sava Dobroplodni " Regional Library –
Sliven on February 14, 2014. The theme of love in its biblical sense of life
attracted the interest to more than 250 students from High School for
Foreign Languages "Zaharii Stoyanov", High School of Humanitarian Sciences
and Mathemathics "Dobri Chintulov", High School of Humanitarian Sciences
"Damyan
Damyanov", Professional High School of Hospitality and Tourism "Acad.
Nedelcho Nedelchev", XII Secondary School "Elisaveta Bagryana", etc. Young
people sought answers
to questions about love and fear in the life of modern man,
how our fears were fed, and how love grows. In the induced by the lecturer
discussion they shared their understandings of love - as an emotion that
awakens in moments of our existence and last for different periods of time,
or as a principle of existence, without which man would cease to be a
human.
At
the end of the day, because of the great interest, a lecture for adults was
read too.
The cycle of lectures
that interpret biblical events and related to them feasts, initiated by the
"Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library – Sliven, will continue with lectures on
topic "Free will", which will be held in March, on the eve of the
Annunciation. |
