THE DIRECTRESS OF “SAVA DOBROPLODNI” REGIONAL LIBRARY ROSITSA PETROVA TOOK PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR CHILDREN’S READING IN PÉCS /HUNGARY/
An international conference, concerning the changes of readers’ interest of visitors of children’s libraries was held on June 11-13 in the town library of Pécs /Hungary/. Representatives of big Hungarian libraries, the Hungarian national library, the director of the library in the town of Beli Manastir /Croatia/ and Rositsa Petrova – a directress of “Sava Dobroplodni” Regional Library took part in the conference reading reports. A presentation of the 8th National Children’s Book Festival, which ended recently, was included in the conference’s program. Rositsa Petrova При своето посещение Росица Петрова donated to the town library of Pécs books from “The Golden collection of XXth century”, which laid the beginning of a book collection in Bulgarian. In her speech, while donating the books, she outlined that decision for donating the book collection was demanded not only by the fact that there is a numerous Bulgarian community in the town. The books will help students, who study Slavic philology at the university, as the book collection will be enriched yearly. The donation attracted great readers’ and citizens’ interest and the event was broadcasted and published in the media.
