Ivan Bakalov
/September 9, 1938– June 6, 2004/
Ivan Bakalov graduated a high school and an Institute for teachers in Bourgas and “St. Kilment Ohridski” University – Sofia / Bulgarian philology/.
He was a director of the library from July 24th, 1981 to December 1991. At that time, in 1981, the library celebrated its 25 anniversary.
In that period the library got in touch with the Regional library of Ternopol /Ukraine/. Valuable bibliographies were published. Reconstruction of the library’s building started.
