Coordinates and consults all the libraries, working in Sliven and Yambol regions.
Works up and implements projects, concerning the development of libraries and making them modern information centers.
The head of the department collects, processes and gives information about the libraries of the two regions to the local and state authorities and suggests measures for making their activity better.
